After months of work, testing with our customers and countless revisions, our new Career Innovation Toolkit is eventually out!
A real redesign, completely revised and optimized, with texts that are even simpler, more intuitive and, above all, written using the first person. It will soon include some powerful other tools:
A new name
The Toolkit changes its name: from “Professional Innovation Toolkit” to a more intuitive “Career Innovation Toolkit”, the set of tools to innovate your career and work in a sustainable way.
After all, today the expression “career” has less and less sense. Now, to be truly antifragile, you need to know how to continuously innovate your work and know how to do it in a sustainable way. It is a new life long activity and it is also a new skill, increasingly necessary in this era of professional uncertainty. It’s not just a question of skills, it’s not just a question of Professional Development, but of being able to innovate one’s profession: Professional Innovation. It is now necessary to be able to quickly review one’s work model and one’s professional image, maximizing alignment with one’s values and talents and maximizing professional fulfillment and other intangible “revenues”, together with minimizing tangible and intangible costs such as stress, frustration, demotivation, etc.
For this reason, for some years now we have been actively speaking about the concept of “career sustainability”, a topic we have also written about in Linc, Manpower’s corporate magazine .
Global headquarters of companies such as Sandoz, BSH, KIA, Manpower, Novartis, EY, Exilor-Luxottica and Daiichi Sankyo have asked us to apply the Toolkit to support their talents to be more self-directed in their professional development in order to contribute to the biggest priority at the moment: talent retention and autonomy.
We also talked about it on the blog of ATD, the Talent Development Association.
The visual tools included in the Kit
For now we have published the same tools present in the current kit with renewed graphics and texts.
In particular, the new Personal Branding Canvas, radically renewed (here all the info).
But also our special edition of the Work Model Canvas, which replaces the “Personal Business Model Canvas” in line with the change proposed in the new edition of Business Model You published at the end of last year!
We will soon publish other tools, with the aim of helping more and more people to have a sustainable career and defeat professional fragility!
A co-design with Matteo Bandi
The activity was co-designed together with Matteo Bandi, a designer based in London and specialized in user interaction and digital interfaces, especially for mobile apps and startups. Matteo was a revelation. His ability to quickly ground, test and stress tools allowed us to achieve more than we even expected!
Read Matteo’s interview about the project.
You can download the Canvas together with the rest of the Toolkit on the dedicated page. If, on the other hand, you have already downloaded the previous edition and have authorized us to do so, you should have received an email with all the PDFs. Contact us in case you didn’t!
