When I joined LinkedIn my colleagues made fun of me: “What’s the point?”, “What’s this networking thing?”, they all exclaimed. Then some offline clubs started to appear and that’s when I first started thinking about the importance of Personal Branding in the corporate environment.
In August 2004, LinkedIn reached 1 million users and sometimes I still brag about being one of the first 700,000 users, 619,465 to be exact! I know, forgive me, these are small satisfactions for the nerd in me
