Digital transformation within companies often tends to focus on strategic and operational aspects.
But how can these aspects be combined with organizational and staff development issues?
In partnership with Enel on 12 September, BigName presented the Enel case during Rome’s Social Media Week. Starting from scratch, Isabella Panizza ENEL’s Head of Global Digital Communications achieved a successful outcome by creating:
- a multifunctional international team
- a new strategy for conducting digital activity in over 30 countries during the adoption by ENEL of an Open Power business model
During her presentation of Enel’s digital strategy at global level, Isabella gave an update on the current state of her team.
Luigi then explained how the innovative approach used by Isabella’s group was based on Design Thinking and the applications of the Business Model Canvas to people and teams. The case has also been used as an example in Tim Clark and Bruce Hazen’s new Business Model Team book published by Portfolio / Penguin. We will be curating the Italian edition of Business Model Team which is to be published by Hoepli in January 2018.
